Over the past few weeks members of the Analytics Working Group have begun to offer suggestions for learning modules as part of the curriculum for the proposed M.S. in Analytics. So far, 40 suggestions have been received with the help of 32 faculty across seven colleges. The modules are being compiled and organized by the steering committee for further discussion by the working group. In the next stage, we will begin to explore areas of complementarity, overlap and gaps in the curriculum. We will also encourage a discussion in the working group about how closely the curriculum meets the needs of target student population and employment opportunities. If you have a curriculum idea for the working group to consider, please speak up there is still an opportunity to influence the discussion.
