New Analytics Degree Program to Welcome Applicants
NC State’s newly approved Master of Science in Analytics is set to begin accepting applicants for its inaugural class, which begins studies in July. The application process, which is completed online, will open shortly. A notice will be sent to prospective students who sign-up on our email list. Analytics Degree Granted Official Status
At their meeting today in Greensboro, the University of North Carolina Board of Governors voted to authorize the Master of Science in Analytics at NC State. The status of the degree program is now official. Our deep appreciation goes out to all who have played a role in the program’s creation. To the many prospective students who have expressed an interest in the degree, thank you for your patience. The online application process will begin in the next few days.
Authorization Granted to Plan Institute
Today, the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Studies, Dr. John Gilligan, made a formal request to Chancellor Oblinger for authorization to plan the new Institute for Advanced Analytics, and the Chancellor approved the request.
M.S. in Analytics Recommended for Approval
The General Administration of the University of North Carolina System has recommended approval of the NC State request to establish the Master of Science degree in Analytics to the UNC Board of Governors, effective July 2007. Approval of the degree will be an action item on the Board’s agenda for February 8-9.
