Organizations interested in sponsoring a student practicum team are invited to submit proposals for consideration for the Master of Science in Analytics (MSA) Class of 2020. The proposal submission period is open through July 1st. Contact the Practicum Manager, Dr. Christopher West, for more information about sponsorship and to discuss the scope and suitability of a proposal. Since 2007, MSA students have conducted a wide variety of projects—178 in all—from virtually every industry sector, as well as state and federal government agencies. Sponsors identify challenging business problems and share data for their 5-person student team to analyze. The 8-month (September to April) project is conducted under confidentiality agreement (we do not seek publication of results), and all work-product is the property of the sponsor. There is no sponsorship fee. Student team will use industry standard tool sets to deliver operational results.
