Despite the economic uncertainties, students did very well heading into a tough job market. Ninety-percent of the Class of ’23 were employed at graduation. The average base salary reached a new high of $113,500. Thirty-two employers succeeded in hiring one or more graduates, among the 40 employers that made job offers. Complete details are available in the Employment Report. The alumni community now stands at over 1,300 graduates employed in 444 organizations spanning 38 states and 25 countries worldwide!

Congratulations to the Class of ’23! The Institute for Advanced Analytics is proud to announce that 89 candidates have received their Master of Science in Analytics degrees during our 16th annual commencement exercise. As we celebrate their achievements, we are excited to welcome them into a vibrant and thriving alumni community of over 1,300 data science professionals.

The Institute is delighted to announce its practicum sponsors for the Master of Science in Analytics (MSA) Class of 2023. Student teams are tasked with projects from 19 sponsoring organizations. Once again this year the Institute welcomes an impressive line-up of new and returning sponsors to work with our students over the next 8 months, including our first projects with Ally, Atrium Health, General Mills, and Speedway Motorsports.

After two years of holding “remote” orientations due to the pandemic, it was especially joyful to welcome students in the Master of Science in Analytics back to the Institute in person. The Class of ’23 is the Institute’s sixteen annual cohort to begin the 40-week journey in what is the country’s longest-standing full-fledged graduate degree program in data science.

The Institute for Advanced Analytics held it 15th Annual Commencement today for 115 candidates in the Master of Science in Analytics Class of ’22 who successfully completed their degree. The event was witnessed by a congregation of over 600 family and friends. The Class of ’22 has much to celebrate. By graduation, 100% of the class had accepted offers of employment with a record high average annual base salary of $107,900. The 2022 Employment Report was published upon graduation. The new graduates join a thriving alumni community now numbering  1,225 data science professionals working in over 400 organizations throughout the U.S. and 25 countries worldwide.

It is job placement season and the Institute’s version of “March Madness” is coming to a conclusion with 95% of the Class of ’22 — 115 candidates looking to secure employment — having succeeded in the process of engaging employers in the yearly ritual of converting interviews into job offers. At this point at the end of March fifty-nine employers have made a total of 232 offers of employment — far ahead of the pace in recent years. In total, 97% of students in the class received one or more job offers, and 95% have accepted new positions, with a median annual base salary (ABS) of $115,000. The Institute welcomes 122 candidates in the Class of ’22, its 15th cohort in the Master of Science in Analytics. The result of a highly selective process of admission, the ’22 cohort includes a diverse demographic of students representing 21 states from coast-to-coast and 13 countries of origin. Congratulations to the 118 graduates in the Master of Science in Analytics Class of ’21! The Institute’s 14th cohort since its inaugural class in 2008, they join the our alumni community of over 1,100 data savvy professionals working in over 360 organizations throughout the U.S. and around the world. Graduates of the Institute’s Master of Science in Analytics (MSA) continue to lead the University in terms of average earnings (at graduation) for the third consecutive year data has been collected. According the the University’s Office of Institutional Strategy and Analytics, MSA Class of ’20 graduates earned an average starting salary of $102,135, which was 22% higher than the average for all 533 master’s degree candidates graduating in May 2020.
