Note: North Carolina residency determination is centralized for the state.
NC State University sets tuition and fees each year with the approval of the North Carolina legislature. The rates for the coming academic year are typically posted in late May. Living expenses and health insurance (which is mandatory for all students) are separate costs.
If you’re admitted to the MSA program and have concerns regarding your ability to afford the cost of attendance, contact the institute’s admissions team to discuss your circumstances. While MSA students are not eligible for graduate research or teaching assistantships, the Institute for Advanced Analytics can typically provide partial financial aid awards to students with demonstrated need.
The MSA degree is officially designated by the United States Department of Homeland Security as a STEM program. This designation allows international students to extend their training in the United States by working in their field of study. Instead of 12 months of Optional Practical Training (OPT), they have a total of 36 months with the STEM extension.
