The panel, entitled &#8220;Big Data, Academia and The Job Market,&#8221; was organized and chaired by Dr. Jennifer Priestley (<a title=\"Kennesaw State University\" href=\"https:\/\/math.kennesaw.edu\/academics\/grad\/MSAS\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kennesaw State University<\/a>), and included <!--more-->Dr. Jeff Camm (<a title=\"University of Cincinnati\" href=\"https:\/\/business.uc.edu\/programs\/graduate\/msbana.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Cincinnati<\/a>), Dr. Goutam Chakraborty (<a title=\"Oklahoma State University\" href=\"https:\/\/spears.okstate.edu\/sasosu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oklahoma State University<\/a>), Dr. Charles Sox (<a title=\"University of Alabama\" href=\"https:\/\/manderson.cba.ua.edu\/academics\/departments\/masters_program\/master_of_science_in_applied_statistics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Alabama<\/a>), and Dr. Richard Sowers (<a title=\"University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign\" href=\"https:\/\/www.stat.illinois.edu\/degrees\/msanalytics.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign<\/a>). The panel represented some of the country&#8217;s premiere graduate degree and certificate programs focused on analytics.
