It is the most competitive admission cycle since the MSA program&#8217;s inception in 2007, with a record low acceptance rate of 21-percent for the intensive 10-month program. The admissions committee reviewed 468 applications\u2014up 72-percent over the previous year\u2014and interviewed 210 candidates to create the cohort of 85 students. <!--more-->The enrollment rate is expected to be 88-percent, which is the historical norm. Of the 97 individuals offered admission, 84 students have elected to enroll, 4 have deferred, and 1 are pending. Nine candidates declined offers admission\u2014three to attend other schools. The only known competitive losses were to Harvard University and the University of Chicago.<\/p>\n<p>The strong admissions result is attributable to the Institute&#8217;s reputation and established track record in producing analytics professionals who are highly sought-after by employers. The Institute has placed over 90-percent of its students by graduation each year since its inception.
