In the coming months the Institute will add 6,000 sq.ft. for a second classroom, offices and student work spaces. The expansion is part of a plan approved by NC State University&#8217;s Board of Trustees to build on the tremendous success of the <a href=\"https:\/\/analytics.ncsu.edu\/?page_id=1799\">Master of Science in Analytics<\/a> (MSA) degree program and increase its enrollment to 80 students beginning in June 2012. When construction is completed, the Institute will have a total of nearly 15,000 sq.ft.  with capacity to seat up to 120 students. MSA enrollment had been capped at 40 students due to <!--more-->space limitations since the Institute first opened its doors.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" style=\"border: 1px solid black; margin: 6px;\" title=\"Institute for Advanced Analytics\" src=\"https:\/\/analytics.ncsu.edu\/images\/venture2a.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"160\" height=\"240\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Today&#8217;s announcement comes with notification from the North Carolina Department of Administration of the Council of State&#8217;s approval of the Institute&#8217;s request to add to its existing facility. The new expansion space is located the 4th floor of the Venture 2 Building, just beneath the Institute&#8217;s current facility. The expansion will enable the MSA program to operate with two  40-student cohorts running concurrently on a 10-month cycle.<\/p>\n<p>Established  in 2007, the MSA is the nation&#8217;s first and preeminent graduate degree  in Analytics.
