Our annual <a href=\"https:\/\/analytics.ncsu.edu\/?page_id=2807\">Enrollment Report<\/a> provides details on our student demographics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While an applicant\u2019s past academic performance is important, our admissions committee bases its decisions on a combination of factors including, but not limited to, the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applicant\u2019s career aspirations align with the program mission;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicant holds a bachelor\u2019s degree from or is in the final year of undergraduate study at an accredited U.S. college or university or its foreign equivalent;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicant has completed (or is currently completing) <a href=\"https:\/\/analytics.ncsu.edu\/?page_id=906\">statistics coursework<\/a>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicant has experience <a href=\"https:\/\/analytics.ncsu.edu\/?page_id=906\">coding in one or more computer programming languages<\/a>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicant demonstrates a strong aptitude for complex quantitative analysis and academic success as evidenced by undergraduate coursework and (if applicable) graduate coursework and\/or work experience;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicant\u2019s past professional or other experiences suggest a propensity for teamwork;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicant demonstrates maturity, self-initiative, and leadership potential;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicant meets the <a href=\"https:\/\/catalog.ncsu.edu\/graduate\/graduate-handbook\/international-student-admissions\/#text\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">English proficiency requirements<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We do not consider scores from standardized entrance exams such as the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) as part of the MSA admissions process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We require all applicants to whom we are considering offering admission to have an interview with our admissions committee.
