Erin Cutrell and Taylor Shipman share this year’s Director’s Prize as the top graduates in the Master of Science in Analytics (MSA) Class of 2013. Cutrell and Shipman receive the prize in recognition by their peers of their superior performance throughout the 10-month program. Commenting on the winners, the Institute’s director, Michael Rappa, stated “Erin and Taylor earned high praise from their peers and it’s easy to understand why. They possess wonderful leadership skills, bringing intelligence and abundant enthusiasm to their work.” Cutrell, who is a 2007 graduate in biostatistics from UNC-Chapel Hill will join Cigna as Senior Informatics Specialist. Shipman, who is a 2006 graduate of Wheaton College, has accepted a position with JP Morgan Chase as VP, Geospatial Analytics Manager. Receiving honorable mention for the prize were Andrew Brown, Wesley Stewart, Benjamin Yeomans and Jie (Jamie) Zhang.
