The Institute is delighted to announce the appointment of Joe Burke to the position of Professional Development Coach/Counselor. Most recently, Joe completed a post-masters fellowship at the North Carolina State University Counseling Center, focusing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and the treatment of anxiety. In his new position, Joe will provide professional development coaching to MSA students to develop their professional talents and strengths. As a licensed mental health professional, Joe will also offer counseling to assist students with personal or other issues that may impede their professional performance. Joe earned his MSW from Smith College School for Social Work and holds a B.A. in public relations from the University of Northern Iowa.
