NC State is good at basketball, but it’s great at analytics! In the Institute’s version of “March Madness” it’s our Master of Science in Analytics students who come out big winners in the job placement tournament that culminates in March. The Class of 2018 is on a record-setting pace to become our eleventh consecutive cohort to top 90-percent employment by graduation, with 85-percent of the students already accepting offers of employment in the profession. The current average base salary on accepted offers is a record high $98,900. The dollar value of all offers garnered by the Class totals $28.7 million. MSA students logged over 1,300 first-round interviews with 152 employers, with over 90% of the interviews occurring on site at the Institute. Students netted three job offers on average.
The final report of employment outcomes for the MSA Class of 2018 will be published in May.
