The Institute’s director, Dr. Michael Rappa, traveled to historic Pinehurst Resort in the North Carolina Sandhills today at the invitation of the Wake Forest University faculty to be the guest speaker at the annual retreat of the School of Business. Drawing on his experience launching the Master of Science in Analytics, Dr. Rappa spoke about the rise of Data Analytics as an important new area in business education. He advocated for respected business schools like Wake Forest to take the lead in responding to industry’s call for analytics-savvy business professionals. Frequently ranked among the top-50 business schools in the nation, Wake Forest has a long and successful history of educational innovation.
