Students in the Master of Science in Analytics (MSA) Class of 2017 celebrated the holidays with a mixture of good fun and community service. Students worked to bring together a wonderful collection of toys and other gifts for infants and children at WakeMed Hospital. The MSA Program is ‘In-Tents’

From Data Column, the MSA Student Blog, David Jordan writes: “As the title suggests, the MSA program is intense. There are projects, homeworks, and real-world practicum projects. Every aspect of the program is focused on “developing the world’s best data professionals,” as Dr. Rappa likes to say. However, this article isn’t about the program being intense, but rather it is about taking a break from the intensity, embarking on a journey, and ending up in tents.” Read more

Applying to Class of 2018

The Institute welcomes applicants for the Master of Science in Analytics (MSA) Class of 2018, our 11th student cohort, which will begin studies next summer (June 2017). The MSA is the nation’s longest running full-fledged master’s degree program in data science with an unparalleled track record for producing highly sought-after graduates.
